Telsiai Forestry Enterprise is one of 42 Lithuanian Forestry Enterprises engaged in administration of state forests. Forests of the Forestry Enterprise are located in Plunge and Telsiai regions.
         Telsiai Forestry Enterprise was established in 1919. The area of the Forestry Enterprise at that time was 16765 ha and included four forestry stations: Tverai, Varniai, Plateliai and Alsedziai-Kretinga.
        According to the data as of April 1, 2004, more then 33000 ha of state forests are administered by the Forestry Enterprise. State-owned forests are divided into 10 forestry stations: Telsiai, Ubiske, Zarenai,. Varniai, Kuliai, Mostaiciai, Plunge, Plateliai, Šateikiai and Stalgenai.    More...
